The following investments were made by Zuckerberg Education Ventures this year:

  • Volley ($2,300,000) – Learning assistant camera app
  • Ellevation Education ($6,400,000) – English language learning software

Previous years’ investments include Newsela, MasteryConnect, AltSchool, and Bridge International Academies.

The following investments in 2016 were made by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative:

  • Andela ($24,000,000) – Coding bootcamps in Africa
  • BYJU’s ($50,000,000) – Test prep

Mark Zuckerberg has also invested in Panorama Education.
